United Nations Office on Outer Space Affairs
The United Nations Office on Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) is a division of the United Nations Secretariat responsible for promoting international cooperation in the peaceful use of outer space. The office was established in 1958, and its mandate is to provide a platform for cooperation among countries and to serve as a clearinghouse for information on outer space activities.
